2、过去式和过去分词变化不同

lie如果lie解释为撒谎，那么过去式和过去分词，就是标准的变化，分别在lie后面跟上d就可以，lie，lied，lied。lie如果解释为躺下，那么过去式和过去分词，就是不规则的变化，lie，lay，lain。

lay的过去式以及过去分词都是laid,lay laid laid，比如lay the book on the table把书放在桌上，lay an egg母鸡下蛋。The dog laid its ears back.小狗把耳朵耷拉下来。

lie的用法

一、lie表示“撒谎”的意思时

1、可以用做名词，表示谎言；假话

我已经听够了你的谎言。

2、可以做动词，搭配有lie about sth关于...撒谎;lie to sb，对某人撒谎，骗人

I know he's lying...

我知道他在说谎。

3、lie动名词lying，表示“撒谎”的行为

我绝对不能容忍撒谎这样的行为。
